This picture was taken on Tyrell's Point (by yours truly) of a sunset (obviously) this past fall. So much beauty around us, we just need to stop and appreciate it.
As you may have already gathered, we wrote our test yesterday for work and I got 96%= one wrong. Man, I rock. Actually, there's 3 in our class of 9 (well, 8 now 'cause one clocked out and left last night) that are doing really well. It's the Rain Man abilities in me, she tells it once and I remember it. Except for those blasted codes for the products. For example, if you sell them a, "3-in-1 Credit Report," the code to be entered in our sale is, "TRI," or something like that. I don't know why the hell they can't just make it an acronym like, "TIOCR." Ah well, guess I just may have to actually study those, heehee! Old habits of a non-studier die hard. Cripes, best get used to it if the plan is to become a Psychologist down the road. Ah well, guess we can't all be, "Albersteins." (Albert Einstein, get it?) - Colleen
Two nights ago, I got word we could wear hockey jerseys today (casual day and $1 going towards the social committee) and I got way too excited. They're doing it to show support for the Pond Hockey tournament this weekend at French Fort Cove. I actually have an excuse to wear my Provincial Team Ringette Jersey. I can't remember the last time I had it on. Took me about an hour to find it too. It was buried under our team's splash suits, which conveniently (inserst sarcasm here) was the first and last place I looked. Don't let that fool you though, there were many other searches in between. I just didn't see it the first time I looked 'cause it was zipped up under the jacket. Man, those splash pants are just as ugly now as they were then. I think I'll wear the team jacket but the pants can stay the hell home.
I was telling my class last night about going to see Lucienne. It's such a small world. It turns out that Aaran (my trainer) is Lucienne's neice. I never even thought, she's from Dalhousie too and it's not like it's a real huge community. She said he's just as crazy when trying to carry on a normal conversation. So I guess that answers my question as to whether that's just his persona, he really is an Acadien frenchman.
Also, one of the girls in my class, Sarah, is a huge ghost buff too. I was browsing through http://www.ghoststudy.com (check it out, best paranormal site on the web) and she saw it over my shoulder and from there, the stories started. She's experience lots (me too, I'm a friggin' magnet) and would be interested in getting a Paranormal Research/Investigator's team together with me. It's something that's also on the back burner right now but the existence is there, it's the evidence that's lacking. I'm just tired of those in the paranormal community trying to dupe us all. I want to do it the right way and this is the only way to do it. Apparently there's a hotel room at the Wharf Inn that's haunted (she used to work there, must ask Liss, she used to too) so that would be one place to start. She also knows and can have entry to a PR (private residence) in Wayerton that's really active, in the house and on the grounds. I also have full access to another PR that's extremely active. Might be time to start getting history's. Heehee, I could also try to get Liss & Darcy up for one. Just ask Darcy's neice Ashley if their house is haunted. Actually, not much has been happening there the last couple of years. I'd hate to stir it all up on them again.
Anybody interested in checking out my stories, pictures and false positive collection (for rule-out) can follow this link... http://groups.msn.com/RedrumsPictures Also, if anybody's interested in helping fund the future PRT ("Paranormal Research Team," our name, say it out quick and it sounds like Purty or Pretty, my idea, thanks, see, acronyms can make sense) can follow the ghoststudy link and buy us some equipment, the stuff's ridiculously expensive. First on my wish list, an EMF meter...! Hey, can't blame a girl for trying, can you? My birthday's on April 1st if you'd rather have an occasion... lol.
Alright, must stop babbling and get ready. Got some calls to make and due to hitting too many stores in search of my belt clip, didn't get to talk to Jenni. Wonder what went down? I'm actually done an hour earlier tonight. Not really sure why and don't particularly care, for that matter. What matters is 11pm. instead of 12am.
In the meantime folks, keeping with today's hockey theme, "Keep your stick on the ice." - Red Green.
